The National Active and Retired Federal
Employees Association is the only association dedicated
to protecting the earned retirement benefits of federal
employees, retirees and their survivors. Founded
in 1921 it is an effective and respected legislative
voice for federal workers and retirees.
Of course as in any organization there
are membership benefits such as a national monthly
magazine, a credit union, a national website
including means to automatically send email to
congressmen regarding issues of interest to members,
membership discounts with a variety of companies,
travel packages, credit card and insurance programs.

Sponsor and support legislation to
protect the benefits and general welfare of its members
on issues such as health benefits, retirement, etc.

current and future retirees through operation of a
Political Action Committee known as NARFE PAC.

Help members through local Service Officers
and by working with the Office of Personnel Management
to answer members questions related to retirement
benefits.
Foster public recognition and appreciation of government
service.
Contribute to the well being of our local communities
through volunteer service.
